My Blog Nightmare!

Okay, so I know, blogging is not supposed to be complicated. Some how I have complicated it. Everything started out okay, but then went haywire somewhere along the way. I used to have the comments thingy available, but one day it disappeared. Then I had a friend look at it and she fixed it, but then all of my 'friends' disappeared. Then when I added my 'friends' back, the comments bit disappeared again. Oh woe's me. Anybody have any suggestions????
